Stampin' Up!® has introduced two new products: Mica Flakes and Shaker Frames. I had fun using both of them on this card. The Shaker Frames are wonderfully easy to use and add a darling flavor to any card or scrapbook page. the Mica Flakes can be adhered to your project so quickly and easily - just lay down a strip of Snail Adhesive and then sprinkle the flakes onto the strip. Shake the loose ones off and there you go. Here's a picture of the bottle. You recieve a generous supply with this purchase.
To make the shaker window, stamp your background image (in this case a Christmas Tree ornament) on card stock and then place the shaker frame around the image. Fill the frame with tiny buttons, punched shapes, mica flakes (as I did) or glitter. HUM . . . I bet there are a ton more ideas. Cut a piece of Medium Window Sheet to match the opening of the shaker frame (use the outside edge of the frame as your measure) and place it over the frame. Since the Shaker Frames are self adhesive, you don't need to use glue or Snail Adhesive on them. For This card, used a Scallop circle to decorate the perimeter of the opening.
